About the Author

Vaughn Alaine-Marshall is a young man on the rise, who on the merit of his other-worldly outlook and perseverance is establishing himself as the new, magnetic voice in the international literary field. Vaughn has taken the first step in what is to be a long career with the release of his debut title, Überstar.

“It all started out rather innocuously. One day a close, family friend phoned me with a story. She was a prominent contestant on a season of Australian Idol. At first, I wasn’t interested, however as the afternoon unfolded, the story grew and grew. It was entertaining and gripping. I knew then and there it had to be a book.”

During the course of his research, Vaughn was inundated by other reality-show contestants who were breaking confidentiality agreements to tell him their stories. The sources are known around the world and include some of the most powerful people in the entertainment industry.

After Vaughn had compiled enough material, Überstar was written in eight-and-a-half months.

“I locked myself in my bedroom that was roughly 10 by 15 feet, turned off my phone and wrote until it was done.”

But, what resulted was well worth the sacrifices. Überstar came to life.
